General Education Core Goals

Student Participation in Campus-Wide Assessment

At several points during students' undergraduate experience they may be asked to participate in campus-wide general education assessment activities. The following is an overview of what students could expect:

  1. ETS Proficiency Profile:  Administered by the Assessment Office to incoming first-year students in the fall of odd number years.
  2. National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE):  Administered by the Institutional Research Office  in the spring to first-year students in odd number years.
